The UAE industrial license in UAE is a requirement for companies that want to conduct industrial business activities in the UAE. These activities may include exporting finished goods, importing raw materials, transporting, assembling, packaging and manufacturing. The industrial trade license can help you convert natural resources and raw materials into products. You can sell the products internationally or within the UAE.

The Department of Economic Development in Dubai handles the registration of new businesses and the issuance of business trade licenses on the mainland. If you want to set up an industrial business on the mainland, you need an industrial license from the DED.

However, if you want to set up the business in Dubai freezones, you will get the industrial license from the concerned freezone authority.

The industrial license aims to regulate the UAE industries, so anyone who wants to start a company to perform industrial business activities will need an industrial license. Any foreign or local investor or entrepreneur can get an industrial license to perform business activities in the city.

The cost of an industrial license in the UAE depends on your decisions and business. For example, setting up a business on the mainland costs more than setting you a business in a freezone.

However, the freezones have some limitations that don’t affect the mainland. You will spend about AED 25,000 to get an industrial license in the UAE.
